About

The Award winning Littleton High School Band is located in Littleton, Colorado, and is one of three high schools in Littleton Public Schools. We welcome our new principal Dr. Amy Oaks.

The school has approximately 1650 students, and the 2007 band has 50 winds and brass, 26 percussion, and 10 colorguard. The Lion Pride band is a consistent contender in Division 4A in the Colorado Bandmasters Association State Tournament, and has been a State Quarter-finalist, and State Semi-finalist in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

The Lion Pride Marching Band has appeared in parades and field contests all over Colorado and surrounding states, Hawaii, New York, and Missouri; and performed in Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic in December of 2007.

The band is the 2005 Grand Champion of the KUSA/Xcel Energy Denver Parade of Lights, and co-champion of the 2005 Colorado State Fair Parade.

The band is under the direction of Mr. Don Emmons.
